Job Description Main Responsibilities, Requirements, and Competencies

Understand internal and external customer design requirements.

Utilize PRP to guide Launch Process.
Develop tactical plans to meet deliverables.
Deliver design within engineering budget and BOM cost targets.

Additional Responsibilities:

Communicate effectively both internally and externally.
Applystructured problem-solving methods for issue resolution.

Specific Requirements

Required Education Level:

Bachelor's Level Degree

Area of Study: mechanical engineering, or equivalentdegree in a technical field (manufacturing, mechanical, chemical, materials science, industrial & operations, etc.)

Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.

Required Qualifications (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge):

-3 Minimum Years of relevant experience in automotive interiors.

Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which mightrequire climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge):

Experience leading programs with full engineering responsibility.
Experience in injection molded products preferred
Experience in cut, saw and wrap designs
Experience in mechanisms preferred - buttons, door openers, glove box, levers
CATIA and NX experience
