- Design and lay out water-based fire sprinkler systems.
- Perform and/or review hydraulic calculations.
- Review project specifications and field survey information.
- Support projects from design through completion.
- Collaborate with senior designers, sales, and field teams.
- Ensure designs meet applicable codes and project requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 13
. - Experience with hydraulic calculations, field surveys, and system layouts.
- Experience with fire pumps, standpipes, healthcare, high-rise, or design-build projects is a plus.
- Historical preservation project experience is highly valued.
- NICET certification is preferred but not required. Candidates interested in pursuing NICET certification are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and independent decision-making skills.
This is primarily a collaborative, in-person role. Hybrid flexibility may be considered for qualified candidates located farther from the office.
Fire alarm experience is not required
