The Data & Reporting Specialist is responsible for extracting, integrating, and analyzing data from multiple enterprise systems to support business decision-making. This role designs and maintains databases, dashboards, and automated reporting solutions using tools such as Qlik View, Power BI, SAP, ADP, Microsoft Access, and SQL. The specialist applies data science principles, programming skills, and strong analytical capabilities to deliver accurate insights, improve data quality, and optimize reporting processes across the organization.

ESSENTIAL

FUNCTIONS
  • Extract, consolidate, and validate information from systems such as Qlik View, SAP, ADP, and other enterprise platforms to provide accurate, consistent, and timely datasets that support business decision-making.
  • Design, develop, and maintain relational databases and reporting structures—using SQL, Access, and data modeling techniques—to ensure data integrity, performance, and long-term scalability.
  • Build automated dashboards, visual reports, and analytics tools that translate complex information into meaningful insights for stakeholders across all functional areas of TREMEC (Operations, GBD, Engineering, Purchasing, Finances, IT, HR) and leadership teams.
  • Create scripts, queries, and automations (Python, SQL, VBA, or similar tools) to streamline data workflows, enhance process efficiency, and reduce manual reporting efforts throughout the organization.
  • Apply data science concepts—such as statistical analysis, forecasting, and pattern identification—to uncover trends, evaluate business outcomes, and support strategic initiatives with data-driven evidence.
  • Leverage artificial intelligence to augment trend prediction planning.
  • Ensure high standards of data quality, documentation, and governance while collaborating cross-functionally to resolve data issues, communicate insights, and continuously improve reporting capabilities.
  • Ensure preparation and planning to meet deliverables for forecasts, long term planning, lead system and other business processes.
  • Participate in TREMEC global projects collaborating in the design of processes and operational improvement, contributing and building solutions that improve operations in different departments.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS
  • Execute, coordinate and follow up for special assignments as needed.
  • Support to GBD sales forecasting processes and quotation status report.
  • Ensure compliance with established Business Systems within TREMEC.
  • Manage, improve and monitor TREMEC business processes, identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions.

REQUIREMENTS PROFILE

Professional Background / Basic Qualifications /

Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, information systems, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 2–5 years of experience in data extraction, reporting, or BI roles.
  • Proven experience building dashboards, databases, and automated reports.
Technical Expertise
  • Strives to continuously improve expertise, knowledge and skills
  • Strong SQL knowledge (T-SQL, PL/SQL, or similar).
  • Experience with Microsoft Access (queries, forms, VBA).
  • Proficiency in BI tools (Qlik View, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Programming skills in Python or R (data analysis, automation, visualization).
  • Understanding data modeling, ETL processes, and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
  • Designs work-flows and procedures.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and write simple correspondence.
  • Project Management
    - Develops project plans. Coordinates projects. Communicates changes and progress. Completes projects on time and budget. Manages project team activities.
