Deskside Technician

Under the general supervision of the Client Services Manager, this role is responsible for installs, moves, changes, and technical hardware support. It is a “hands-on” technical role that requires good people skills along with workstation support knowledge.

• 3-5 years of professional work experience in a related field
• Associates Degree in Information Systems-Required/BS Information Systems-Preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Customer service focused
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

• ITIL Foundations V3-Preferred
• Experience with ticket tool and diagnostic tools
• Basic network knowledge and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, wireless, etc.)

• Analyze and resolve hardware/software problems onsite or remote operational mode
• Installation of additional software manually and via deployment console
• Respond to user requests for technical advice and support
• Installation of client equipment
• Classify technical queries and forward them to relevant departments
• Document customer inquiries
• Use remote support tools and ticketing tools
• Provide instruction and advice to the user
• Coordinate with IT coordinators and users
