Position: Azure Fabric Data Engineer

Location: Novi, MI

Employment type: Contract

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computers, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in Data Platform Administration, Data Engineering, or Cloud Platform Support.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL, Python and ETL concepts.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or similar ecosystems.
• Understanding of platform administration, monitoring, and operational support processes & knowledge of RBAC, security controls, and governance concepts.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and modern cloud data architecture concepts & exposure to scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Power Shell.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD, Dev Ops, and release management practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Preferred skills:
  Experience with Snowflake administration and workload optimization.
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, or Azure ecosystem services & experience with ETL tools such as dbt, Matillion or ADF.

Mandatory

Skills:

Microsoft Fabric Data Engineering, 5–8 years of experience.

Compensation: The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000, depending on factors such as location, skills, and experience.
