Legal Assistant

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join a client in the Novi area. This role is primarily focused on litigation, providing comprehensive legal support to our team.

Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive support to our legal team, including document preparation and management.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal regulations.

- Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

- Monitor client cases and take necessary actions when required.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective legal service delivery.

- Support the legal team in preparing for court proceedings as needed.

- Conduct legal research to support ongoing cases and legal projects.

- Support the continuous improvement of our legal procedures and processes.

Requirements

- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Legal Assistant

- Proficiency in legal research and documentation

- Electronic filing experience

- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and Power Point

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work

- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all professional matters

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively

- Willingness to continue learning and improving professional skills.
