Saber Building Services is excited to welcome a dependable Day Porter / Custodian to our team at an automotive facility near the Cabot Drive and West 12 Mile Road corridor in Novi. This is a visible, hands-on role for someone who enjoys staying active and takes pride in keeping a busy workplace clean and professional throughout the day.
Because the facility is occupied during the shift, the Day Porter / Custodian will respond to cleaning needs as they arise while completing routine custodial duties throughout assigned areas. We are looking for someone who is attentive, reliable, and comfortable working independently in an active facility.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, common areas, entrances, and other assigned spaces
- Empty trash, restock supplies, and perform routine custodial cleaning
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors throughout assigned areas
- Respond promptly to spills and other immediate cleaning needs
- Monitor high-traffic areas and report facility concerns to management
Requirements
- Dependable and consistent attendance
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach
- Ability to work independently and respond to changing priorities
- Ability to work comfortably in an active automotive facility
Pay: $16 - $18 per hour
