Material Handler

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our manufacturing team in Novi, MI. Under limited supervision, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient flow of materials and products throughout the manufacturing area. This includes handling incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring established guidelines are followed at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle and maintain the flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas following established procedures.
• Provide information for recording movement of incoming and outgoing materials and supplies.
• Operate both motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment as needed.
• Adhere to well-defined guidelines to complete tasks and aid decision-making.
• Follow all safety protocols and perform work in accordance with operational standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with material handling processes and best practices.
• Experience operating motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
• Basic understanding of work routines and procedures in material handling.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.
• Specialized education or training in material handling preferred, but not required.
