CNA Medication Tech

Erickson Senior Living is seeking a compassionate CNA Medication Tech to support residents in our continuing care community. In this role, you'll administer medications safely, provide hands-on personal care, observe and report resident condition changes, and document accurately in accordance with state regulations. You'll collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality, resident-first care while fostering dignity, independence, and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Administer scheduled and PRN medications accurately under nurse supervision
• Provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living for residents
• Monitor and document resident status, vital signs, and responses to medications
• Report changes in condition promptly to nursing staff and follow care plans
• Maintain accurate medication records and follow state regulations and community policies
• Support infection control, safety, and fall-prevention protocols
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Promote residents' dignity, independence, and engagement in daily activities
• Maintain clean, organized care and medication areas
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development offered by Erickson Senior Living

Required Skills

• Medication administration (per MAR and protocols)
• Knowledge of medication side effects and reporting
• Vital signs measurement and monitoring
• Personal care (ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Infection control and standard precautions
• Resident observation and change reporting
• Basic first aid and CPR/BLSSafe patient transfer and mobility assistance
• Communication with residents, families, and care team
