We are looking for an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs across all distribution centers and branch locations. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while fostering a strong safety culture that minimizes risk, prevents injuries, and supports operational excellence.

• Develop, implement, and maintain company‑wide EHS policies, programs, and training initiatives
• Lead safety initiatives focused on hazard identification, injury prevention, and risk reduction
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across multiple locations
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable state and local regulations
• Maintain required safety documentation, including OSHA logs, SDS records, and training records
• Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate workers’ compensation claims, return‑to‑work programs, and injury case management with HR and Operations
• Develop and deliver safety training, including new‑hire onboarding and ongoing employee education
• Oversee environmental compliance, including hazardous materials handling, waste management, and spill prevention
• Track and report safety metrics and partner with leadership to drive continuous safety improvements across the organization

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 3–7 years of EHS experience in distribution, manufacturing, warehousing, or industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 30‑hour regulations and safety management systems
• Experience conducting audits, investigations, and employee training
• Ability to travel regularly to distribution centers and branch locations
• Professional certifications such as CPR, First Aid, CSP, ASP, CHMM, or equivalent
• Experience supporting multi‑site operations
• Forklift safety, hazardous materials, and DOT compliance experience
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills

• Ability to walk distribution centers and branch facilities for audits and inspections
• Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs
• Travel required (approximately 40‑60%)
