Position OverviewThe primary goal of our sales consultants is to meet with homeowners and provide a consultative approach to the roofing process that accurately conveys the Summit Point Roofing value proposition. Much of your time is spent inspecting roofs, providing feedback, reports, and information, preparing quotes, building and maintaining a network of lead generation through self-motivation and creative initiative. Our consultants are the front line and face of Summit Point Roofing.
Location: Metro Detroit Area (office located in Novi)
Core Responsibilities- Meet and communicate with clients to identify their service needs, including preparation of estimates outlining the specific scope of work.
- Prepare quotes for clients and present options regarding their particular project.
- Actively seek out referral partners with the direction and assistance of your sales manager. Industry specific targets will be determined with your manager.
- Be a team player, understand that what goes around comes around, and look for opportunities to support your co-workers and sales group.
- Work company sponsored events and trade shows.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management, including the resolution of any issues that may arise post-sale.
- Maintain communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and/or enhancements that may be of interest.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records throughout the entire sales process.
- Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify and generate new leads when applicable.
- Ability to lift and set up ladder against roof.
- Ability to climb ladders, walk on roofs while adhering to SPR and OSHA safety guidelines.
- Self-motivated and competitive.
- Must possess a valid drivers license and have a clean driving record.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Thrive in a sales environment and have strong negotiation skills.
- Possess organizational skills, attention to detail and time management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
- Proficient with technology and the ability to learn new software.
- College degree preferred but not required.
- Commitment to integrity and quality.
- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally.
- Self-Motivated and dependable.
- Ability to work in a preplanned and organized manner while understanding priorities may shift from time to time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $ per year
