Overview
Develop and maintain assigned strategic account customer relationships, utilizing TTI's products and services to maximize sales, gross profit, and return on investment/assets. Develop the corporate strategy for the strategic accounts and work closely with the sales branches to position TTI as the preferred supplier.
Education and Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required. A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and five to seven years' experience in electronics distribution or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications at a basic level preferred.
- Must be able to travel 50% of the time.
- Must possess valid state driver's license, safe driving record and be insurable by the company's liability carrier.
- Develop business strategies for assigned accounts by identifying status and focus of the customer, along with potential avenues for account growth. Success is measured by increased sales and meeting sales objectives.
- Develop and coordinate customer corporate-to-corporate reviews by interfacing with the customer and TTI management to arrange agenda/itinerary content.
- Create formal sales and marketing presentations by utilizing technical resources and corporate information for a consistent company message.
- Assist the Vice President of Strategic Sales with the annual budgeting process by providing input and projections on cost and expenses for the upcoming fiscal year.
- Develop relationships with assigned accounts to gain competitive intelligence and favorable competitive positioning.
- Initiate, expand, and renew product pricing agreements to achieve incremental profitability through negotiations.
- Maintain customer inventory and buying process information in the database to support trend analysis.
- Review financial results and recommend adjustments to achieve growth and profit objectives.
- Support Strategic Programs (MRP1/AIM) to enhance TTI's position within assigned accounts.
- Support field operations through teamwork and coordinated efforts to deliver high-quality work and superior customer service.
- Uphold TTI's mission and ethical standards in every transaction.
- Foster customer goodwill and relationship development by hosting customer visits and tours to corporate facilities.
- Identify trends and potential concerns with assigned accounts and pursue timely resolution with appropriate personnel.
- Maintain market awareness of competitor activities and industry trends to inform decisions.
- Participate in the TTI Total Quality Program by promoting quality and identifying process improvements.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
