Carpenter

Novi, Michigan Contract position through August 2026 Day Shift - Pay: $20.00 per hour

• Plans, selects, lays out and cuts materials for shop carpentry to construct, remodel, alter, and repair offices, furniture, stairways, factory partitions, benches, storage bins, shelves, etc.
• Performs general building maintenance works such as repairs to roof, stairs, doors, windows, floor, laying, etc.
• Works under direct supervision of senior carpenter or carpenter lead
• May be required to assist with general utility and shipping & receiving duties when needed

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to measure tooling and make sturdy blocks to rest tooling on
• Bend, lag, secure fencing skids and other tooling
• Required skills:
  
  Carpentry, Tool Measurement, Block Construction, Banding, Lagging
• Additional skills:
  Securing Fencing skids, Tooling
