Qualifications- Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
- Currently hold, or be able to obtain, a non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card.
- 1 year of documented tractor‑tire experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years in the last 5 years.
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
- English language proficiency required (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)).
- Work the required schedule, specific location, complete the Penske employment application, submit for background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
- Position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety‑sensitive; must maintain constant alertness and work safely, accepting responsibility for own and others' safety.
- Must see and hear; specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Must frequently move, stand, walk, and sit. Use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. Able to regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
- Must legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle and the rear cargo area.
