MET Technician

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced MET Technician to join a reputable accident repair centre in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. Our client is seeking a skilled professional to deliver high-quality vehicle repairs, contribute to a supportive team environment, and benefit from attractive compensation and progression prospects.

• Basic salary of £45,000, with on-target earnings up to £52,000
• Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am – 5:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch break

• Dismantling and rebuilding accident-damaged vehicles to manufacturer standards
• Removing, refitting, and replacing mechanical, electrical, and trim components
• Diagnosing and reporting additional damage identified during repairs
• Ensuring repairs align with manufacturer repair methods
• Reconnecting and testing electrical and mechanical systems post-repair

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an MET Technician within an accident repair centre or bodyshop
• IMI Accreditation preferred
• Strong knowledge of modern vehicle mechanical, electrical, and trim systems
• Ability to diagnose faults and work independently to a high standard
• Full UK Driving Licence
