As we continue to grow our national contracts, we’re looking for experienced Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to join our expanding team.
The Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers need to live in any of the following postcodes: CV7 / CV9-13 / B46. Pay & Package Options Choose the option that suits your circumstances:1️⃣ Salary Package £43000 rising to £45,000 per annum after completion of 3 month probation.
33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
Company van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided2️⃣ Guaranteed Day Rate – Option 1 £ 200 per dayPaid via Umbrella PAYECompany van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided3️⃣ Guaranteed Day Rate – Option 2 £ 275 per dayPaid via Umbrella PAYEEngineer provides own van & fuel Tools & uniform provided Bonus Breakdown Boost your earnings with monthly incentives:
KPI Bonus – £150 per month
Achieved by hitting 75% job completion in a calendar month
Attendance Bonus – £150 per month
Awarded for full attendance with no sick days
Pro-rated for holidays Working Hours Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm (1-hour lunch)
Minimum 4 jobs per day / 20 per week Optional weekend work available once weekly targets are met Call Out1 week in 4 rota Standby payments Monday–Sunday Per job rates:£150 per dual install £80 per single £50 per transactional job Saturday work available (paid at day rate)
The Role As a Dual Fuel Engineer with Orion, you’ll benefit from a stable role with strong earning potential and a supportive team.
You will:
Install smart meters safely and efficiently in domestic properties
Deliver a professional, customer-focused service
Ensure all work meets industry safety and compliance standards
Represent Orion as part of a nationwide engineering team Requirements Smart Meter Engineering qualification or diplomaCMA1 or CCN1 & MET1
MOCOPA certification (or completed during induction)
Full UK driving licence
Clean DBS check (recent within 3 months preferred)
EUSR card (advantageous, not essential)
Documents required:
Driving licence, passport, gas certificates, MOCOPA, qualifications, NI number, references, and DBS.
