Talent, Education & Communication, Employee Groups and Celebration.,The Senior Accountant of Internal Reporting will have hands-on involvement in the monthly close process, including responsibilities over the consolidation of all financial data of the Company. The Senior Accountant will assist in producing management reports that reflect the Company’s internal financial statements on a monthly basis, as well as consolidated financial statements for quarterly SEC reporting.,The
Senior Accountant will liaise with various departments worldwide, including FP&A, Investor Relations, Shared Services (aka Record-to-Report or "R2R"), Global Management Reporting, Master Data, Treasury, Tax, and Internal Audit, as well as the Company’s external auditors.,
- Assist in preparing the consolidated financial statements including the Company’s Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and Equity Statement
- Assist in preparing customized management reporting, financial analyses, and business insights that support executive decision-making and strategic initiatives
- Responsible for fiscal month-end exchange rates for the divisions and data consolidation
- Review intercompany balances and ensure proper elimination
- Prepare schedules for the quarterly Management Information Book and distribute to executive management and Investor Relations
- Assist in the preparation and aggregation of the Company’s key external disclosures within SEC filings on Forms 10-K and 10-Q
- Maintain and distribute divisional financial reporting packages
- Assist in maintaining and overseeing the global consolidated chart of accounts within RL’s consolidation system, Financial Consolidation & Close ("FCC")
- Prepare various ad hoc reports, analyses, and projects as requested by senior management
- Participate in process improvement, automation, and systems-related initiatives, including the use of AI-enabled technologies and data analytics tools, to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of financial reporting and close processes
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Strong organizational/multi-tasking and communications skills, both oral and written
- Strong attention to detail
- Private accounting experience or a combination of public/private accounting experience
- Proficiency in MS office (Word & Excel)
- Experience working in a complex, multi-national organization a plus
- Consolidations experience a plus
- Experience with financial consolidation, close management, and ERP platforms, including FCC/FCCS, SAP S/4
HANA Finance, SAP Group Reporting, or similar systems - Demonstrated ability to leverage automation, analytics, AI, and reporting tools to streamline close activities, improve data quality, and enhance reporting processes
