Extended Day Supervisor

Must be a certified teacher. Previous experience as Nutley's Extended Day Supervisor required. Proficient in online software including My School Bucks, MSB Activities, and Google (sheets, docs). Part-time hours. Must be available 7:00 a.m.

- 8:30 a.m. and/or 3:30 p.m.

- 6:00 p.m. On occasion, you may be scheduled to cover a building other than your home base. Extended day lead supervisors are responsible for the day to day operations at the extended day site. Of primary concern, lead supervisors oversee the safety and security of all students enrolled in extended day, and the communication between staff, parents, and central office.

Job responsibilities include: serving as point-person in chain of command for the building, and report to the Director of Extended Day. Informing building staff of updates/changes to procedures. Creating Google sheets for attendance and scheduling. Managing the iPad/Kiosk for parents to sign students In/Out. Managing emergency protocols in their buildings and reporting any issues to administrators. Executing security procedures and protocols.

Overseeing enrichment programs at their building. Training of staff at their building. Engaging with parents to address needs or concerns. Serving as liaison between building principal and Extended Day staff. Preparing payroll in their buildings. Participating in monthly supervisor meetings led by administrator.
