Security Manager, IT Specialist
Ralph Lauren is seeking an Asset Protection Supervisor to join our Asset Protection Department. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on operational responsibilities to protect company assets, ensure associate safety, and maintain security standards across our facilities. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, analytical skills, and a commitment to fostering a safe and secure environment.
Purpose and ScopeAs an Asset Protection Supervisor, you will play a critical role in safeguarding business assets including facilities, merchandise, equipment, and personnel. You will lead departmental initiatives, develop and implement security protocols, conduct training programs, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to mitigate risk and enhance operational efficiency.
This position requires on‑site work and may include performing standard Asset Protection Associate duties as business needs require.
Leadership & Operations- Supervise daily Asset Protection operations, including scheduling, task delegation, and performance monitoring
- Develop, document, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for security and safety protocols
- Lead and mentor AP team members through training, coaching, and performance development
- Manage special assignments and projects as directed by AP Management
- Provide supervision concierge team at main lobby and 3rd party contract security officers
- Work with Property Mgmt. when needed to address any bldg. emergency or safety concerns and ensure compliance with visitor mgmt./ screening protocols
- Lead person for events (i.e., Career Day, TYCTW, Pink Pony walk, Wellness) in Nutley
- Oversee Access Control and Visitor Management systems, generating reports as requested
- Coordinate and maintain Emergency Access programs
- Monitor and respond to security alarms, surveillance systems, and incident alerts
- Conduct regular security patrols and premises inspections
- Handle off‑hour calls during emergencies and facility related issues
- Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, workplace injuries, and policy violations
- Document findings and prepare comprehensive incident reports without bias
- Partner with law enforcement and legal teams when appropriate
- Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and local/state laws
- Compliance with shredding documents
- Perform periodic audits of receiving, shipping, and inventory control procedures as assigned
- Verify accuracy of inventory and identify discrepancies
- Ensure all required audits and reports are submitted accurately and on time to the AP Director
- Partner with Asset Protection peers, solution providers, and vendors on security projects
- Coordinate with external security contractors and service providers
- Collaborate with Operations, HR, and Facilities teams on safety initiatives
- Procure necessary supplies and equipment for the department
- Lead Asset Protection, safety, and emergency preparedness training programs
- Promote security awareness culture throughout the organization
- Update training materials and AP related documents
Travel as required for training, site visits, and special assignments.
Required- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years of Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, or security supervisory experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with security systems, report writing, and data analysis
- Knowledge of fire protection systems and emergency response procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collect, analyze, and report information objectively and accurately
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all organizational levels
- Professional security license (SORA) or certifications (CPO, CPP, CFI, LPQ, or equivalent)
- Bilingual capabilities
- Prior experience in a corporate/office environment
