Metro Ambulance is a fast-moving EMS operation in North Jersey. Our fleet keeps people safe every single day. We need someone who takes that seriously, stays organized, and is hungry to grow into a lead role. This is a ground-floor role with real upward potential. You'll start by mastering our fleet — gas and diesel rigs, preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs. As you learn our operation and prove your reliability, you'll take on more responsibility, more authority, and more pay. We want someone who's eager to grow fast and eventually run this shop. • Preventive maintenance and inspection across our full fleet, including:
• Change engine oil & filters
• Drive shaft, CV joints, belts & hoses
• Inspect electrical systems
• Rotate & inspect tires, wheels, rims
• Examine exhaust & undercarriage
• Check all lights, frame & body
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs

• Experienced with gas AND diesel engines — 6.0 a strong plus
• Organized. Seriously organized. A messy bay is a deal breaker.
• Safe, responsible, and takes ownership of their work
• Hungry to learn, grow, and take on more responsibility over time
• ASE certification is a plus — not required if your skills speak for themselves
• Valid NJ driver's license and reliable transportation to Nutley, NJ
• Ability to maneuver up to 150 lbs with provided equipment
• At least 1 year of hands-on mechanic experience

• Full-Time Monday – Friday with Weekend availability required — all vehicles are available to service on Saturdays and Sundays
• Overtime and on-call availability are part of the role as needed
• $20.00 – $25.00/hr based on experience — with room to grow as you do
