The International Affairs Specialist supports the implementation of international cooperation activities and development initiatives through effective coordination, administration and operational support. The role contributes to the successful delivery of programmes, events, meetings and international activities while ensuring efficient information management, financial administration and cross-functional collaboration.
Key responsibilities- Coordinating international cooperation activities with sister confederations and FIFA and ensuring the timely exchange of information across relevant parties
- Supporting the planning and organisation of international meetings, events, workshops and official engagements as well as any follow-up activities, including coordinating appropriate UEFA representation where required
- Managing schedules, participation records, logistical arrangements and related administrative processes
- Coordinating the implementation and monitoring of solidarity programmes, ensuring compliance with established procedures and timelines
- Overseeing the implementation of UEFA Together projects in certain confederations
- Supporting the International Relations unit in the delivery of national association partnerships and related initiatives, as required
- Maintaining accurate records, databases, documentation and reporting tools related to international activities and programmes
- Providing organisational and logistical support for meetings and working groups and coordinating internal events of the National Associations Services unit
- Facilitating the effective sharing of information between the International Relations unit and National Associations Services unit
Experience:
- from 4 to 6 years of experience in international affairs, programme administration, project coordination or event management
Education:
- Master degree in Business Administration, Sports Management or other relevant field
Languages:
- English / proficient
- Spanish / proficient
- other languages are an asset
Other requirements:
- Relocation to Switzerland/France is expected
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience working in an international and multicultural environment
