Kepler Cheuvreux is a leading independent European financial services company, founded in Paris in July 1997 as the equity brokerage business of Bank Julius Baer. Over the years, Kepler Cheuvreux has diversified its business model along the following lines:

Within the Corporate Finance business line, the Debt Advisory division assists corporates, investment funds and family offices in raising financial debt through suitable capital structure solutions. The team enjoys an enviable track record of advising on a wide range of transactions across the debt spectrum.

The Debt Advisory division consists of 9 professionals located in Paris and Geneva. The successful candidate will work with a small group of people, with the benefit of direct access to the leadership within the team.

YOUR TASKS:

The Debt Advisory division is seeking to strengthen their team with ambitious and entrepreneurial-driven young professionals who are keen to join a leading advisory boutique.

As a member of the team, you will participate in all aspects of the origination and execution of transactions. The core tasks include:

  • Support the team on debt advisory transactions
  • Produce marketing materials and pitches for new deal opportunities
  • Perform financial modelling
YOUR PROFILE &

SKILLS:

The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • Studying towards a master's degree at a leading school or university, ideally in finance
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills are mandatory (demonstrated capabilities in financial modelling is a strong asset)
  • Knowledge of Pitchbook, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Factset or other financial databases are appreciated
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Previous internship in relevant connected fields (investment banking, private equity, audit, etc.) would be appreciated, although not a prerequisite
  • Fluency in French and English

  • Display great motivation
  • Embrace an entrepreneurial team spirit
  • Be an enthusiastic team-player, curious and eager to learn
RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

Between 2 and 3 rounds of interviews: both fit and technical questions.
