The Compensation, Benefits & Rewards Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing competitive, fair, and sustainable total rewards frameworks aligned with business strategy, employer value proposition, and regulatory requirements.
The role acts as a strategic partner to HR Leadership and business stakeholders, ensuring internal equity, external competitiveness, and cost effectiveness across all compensation and benefits programs.
Where you will make a difference- Design and manage global and/or regional compensation frameworks (salary structures, job architecture, grading systems).
- Lead annual compensation review cycles (merit increases, promotions, bonuses, LTIs where applicable) and ensure consistent and thorough budget management.
- Ensure internal equity and market competitiveness through benchmarking and data analysis.
- Define and maintain compensation policies, guidelines, and governance rules.
- Support executive compensation topics as required (benchmarking, scenarios, governance).
- Oversee benefits programs (insurance, pensions, wellbeing initiatives, perks) in collaboration with local HR and brokers.
- Ensure benefits offerings are competitive, compliant, and aligned with EVP and cost constraints.
- Monitor benefits effectiveness and employee satisfaction; propose optimizations.
- Conduct market benchmarking using external surveys and data providers.
- Build and analyze compensation models, scenarios, and cost simulations.
- Provide clear insights and recommendations to HR leadership and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and pay transparency requirements.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, and Payroll to mitigate risks related to compensation practices.
- Support audits and internal controls related to rewards.
- Act as a trusted advisor to HR Business Partners and leaders on compensation-related decisions.
- Support managers in understanding and applying reward frameworks.
- Prepare materials for leadership reviews, committees, or business reviews discussions where required.
- Lead or contribute to global HR projects (job evaluation, pay equity, harmonization initiatives).
- Monitor trends in total rewards and propose innovative solutions.
- Contribute to HR transformation and digitalization initiatives (HRIS, compensation tools).
- Passionate. This is a must.
- Qualified. Ideally with a Master’s degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent. Certifications in Compensation & Benefits (e.g. Worldat Work) are a strong plus.
- Experienced. With at least 8 years’ experience in Compensation & Benefits / Total Rewards.
- Experience in international and matrix organizations.
- Proven exposure to complex compensation structures and bonus schemes.
- Strong experience with salary benchmarking and analytics (Mercer, Hay, Towers Watson etc).
- Technical. With advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis. Experience with HRIS and compensation tools (e.g. Workday, Success Factors, SAP). Solid understanding of job evaluation methodologies.
- Multilingual. Fluent in English (mandatory). Additional languages are a strong asset.
- Analytical. With a strong problem-solving mindset. Able to translate complex data into clear and actionable recommendations.
- Influential. With excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Trustworthy. With a high level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Strategic. Combining strategic thinking with operational excellence. Able to balance competitiveness, fairness, and cost control. Driven by continuous improvement and innovation.
