With Gateway’s rapid growth comes aggressive plans for construction of Gateway’s network and 10x customer growth over the next 12 months. Gateway is hiring an Accounting Manager to support this growth and maintain the highest level of customer service Gateway is proud to offer and leverages to differentiate us from the competition. The successful Accounting Manager will contribute to the success of Gateway’s growth objectives in the following ways:

• Oversee all daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, cash receipts, payroll, and monthly close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and GAAP compliance.
• Lead the month‑end close, including preparation/review of journal entries, reconciliations, variance analyses, and financial accuracy checks.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls, ensuring strong accounting integrity and audit readiness during rapid company growth.
• Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring alignment with leadership and external reporting requirements.
• Manage cash flow oversight, including daily liquidity monitoring, cash postings, forecasting insights, and working capital optimization.
• Oversee tax‑related processes, including sales and use tax filings and collaboration with external tax advisors.
• Prepare for and support external audits and lender reporting, ensuring availability of proper documentation and transparent communication.
• Ensure compliance with construction accounting workflows, including CIP, fixed asset management, and grant reimbursement tracking—critical in Gateway Fiber’s infrastructure expansion.
• Identify and execute process improvements, system enhancements, and standardization initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability.

• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus (optional to include if preferred).
• Strong proficiency with Net Suite, including reporting and workflow management.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial statement preparation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to operate confidently in a high‑growth, rapidly changing environment.
