Benskin Talent Partners is pleased to partner with a well-established manufacturing company in O'Fallon, MO, in their search for an Accountant/Bookkeeper. This is a full-cycle accounting role with real ownership and variety - a great fit for someone who enjoys being the go-to finance person in a close-knit, fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do- Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, payroll, and financial reporting
- Process weekly payroll through Paycor
- Own accurate and timely monthly and year-end close
- Ensure compliance with current accounting, tax, and payroll laws and regulations
- Collaborate with the fractional CFO and outside CPA on financial statements and reporting
- Work across two related entities, including intercompany transactions in Quick Books Desktop
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend cost-saving improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience — a strong accounting foundation is the priority
- Quick Books Desktop experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Solid understanding of accounting, payroll, and tax compliance
- Manufacturing environment experience is a plus
- Strong communicator who can work effectively with a remote CFO and an on-site team
- Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and maintain confidentiality
- Flexible schedule - choose what works for you: 4 x 10-hour days or 5 x 8-hour days
- In-office during training (approximately 4 months); hybrid potential afterward
