Job Title:
Maintenance Clerk/Scheduler
About the JobSupport the development of reliability-based maintenance strategy, based on preventative, predictive, and condition monitoring maintenance. Improve maintenance performance by continually striving to reduce downtime through proactive planning.
Key Responsibilities- Review work orders for completion and enter completed work orders into the Maintenance computer system (Enterprise Asset Management; EAM). Planner will review and close PM and inspection work orders to ensure PM schedules and dates are correct and aligned. Update work order status.
- Lead daily/weekly scheduling meetings with Production and Maintenance to ensure that maintenance work is scheduled in a timely fashion. Coordinate with other Business Units for personnel, material, and asset scheduling, tracking, and allocation.
- Publish and monitor weekly schedule.
- Identify and prepare Maintenance management reports, as needed.
- Monitor all business unit KPI’s.
- Support operational excellence process improvement teams through active involvement and engagement. Create corrective work orders as needed.
- Various data entry and reporting for business unit needs; for example, labor entry and tracking, safety metrics, etc.
- Requisition ing support and WFM time entry support, if needed.
- Employees are expected to perform other responsibilities as needed.
- Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education a plus. - Experience:
One to two years’ experience in administrative/clerical tasks is preferred. - Knowledge:
General knowledge of Computer Maintenance Management System is preferred. - Skills:
Strong organizational and effective communication skills. Basic computer skills with operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and the ability to learn other company‑specific software systems. - Abilities:
Must have the ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision. Ability to understand the process flow.
