The City of O'Fallon is seeking a friendly and customer-service-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Recreation Assistant for daytime/weekday shifts. This position plays a key role in both customer service and administrative functions at the Renaud Center. Our Part-Time Recreation Assistants earn a competitive hourly rate of $15.25 and enjoy a dynamic work environment, with a variety of tasks and responsibilities each day.
In this role, we are specifically looking for those with daytime/weekday availability.
- Customer Service: Answer phone calls, greet visitors, and provide helpful information and assistance.
- Record Keeping: Maintain and update records, including attendance, inventory, and basic financial transactions.
- Administrative Support: File and retrieve documents, forms, inventories, and logs.
- Program Registration: Register participants for programs and process related fees.
- Facility Rentals: Assist with pavilion rental processes.
- Membership Services: Process new and renewed memberships.
- Cashier Duties: Perform cashier functions using a point-of-sale register.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn department policies and procedures quickly.
- Ability to work daytime shifts during the week.
- Valid Missouri State Driver's License.
- Ability to obtain a first-aid/CPR certification.
