Salary Range: $19.00 To $23.00 Hourly
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Tire Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for the installation, removal, and repair of new and used tires for cars, pickup trucks, semi-trucks, and agricultural vehicles. In addition to tire work, the technician will also be required to detail new and used trucks when necessary. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to follow directions and procedures accurately.
Key Responsibilities- Install and remove tires on cars, pickup trucks, semi-trucks, and agricultural vehicles.
- Mount, balance, and align tires following safety protocols and procedures.
- Inspect tires for wear, damage, and other conditions to determine the need for repair or replacement.
- Perform tire repairs, including patching and plugging, ensuring the integrity and safety of the tire.
- Identify issues related to tire tread, sidewalls, and valve stems, providing appropriate solutions.
Detail new and used trucks when required, ensuring vehicles are clean, organized, and presentable.
Safety & Procedure Adherence- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Ensure all tire work is done in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in tire installation, removal, and repair, preferably with a variety of vehicle types (cars, trucks, agricultural machinery).
- Basic knowledge of tire balancing, alignment, and repair techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to perform vehicle detailing tasks when required.
- Must be safety-conscious and follow all safety procedures.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Previous experience working in a tire shop or automotive maintenance.
- Knowledge of agricultural machinery tires.
