Overview

In this role, you'll serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing support with billing inquiries, payments, and account access while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
+ Handle incoming customer interactions via phone, chat, and email
+ Assist with billing inquiries, payment processing, and account-related questions
+ Support customers with portal login and navigation issues
+ Provide clear, accurate, and professional information in a high-volume contact center environment
+ Take ownership of customer concerns and resolve issues efficiently and effectively
+ Analyze information to make sound decisions and solve problems in real-time
+ Perform basic math calculations (percentages, addition, subtraction, division) when assisting customers
+ Navigate multiple systems and applications to research and resolve inquiries
+ Meet established productivity, service, and quality standards
+ Adhere to company policies, compliance regulations (e.g., SOX, PCI), and procedures
+ Assist with additional tasks, projects, and overtime as needed
Qualifications & Skills Required Skills
+ Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a customer-first mindset
+ Ability to multi-task and make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
+ Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
+ Comfortable working across multiple systems and monitors simultaneously
+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
+ Professionalism, reliability, and accountability in handling customer interactions
+ Ability to manage competing priorities and remain calm under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
+ 1-2 years of customer service experience
+ Experience in a high-volume call/contact center environment
+ College degree (completed or in progress) is a plus
Education Requirements
+ High school diploma or equivalent required
Work Environment
+ Fast-paced, high-volume contact center setting
+ Performance-driven with clear service and quality expectations
Experience Level
Entry-level - ideal for candidates looking to start or grow their career in customer service

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of O FALLON, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
