Position Summary

K&S H2O Inc. Culligan of O'Fallon is seeking a friendly, positive, dedicated and hard-working Customer Service Representative to provide excellent customer service in a 40-hour week, Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The role involves answering phones, processing daily payments and charges, creating delivery and service orders, filing, and setting up new customer accounts. The goal is to exceed customer expectations and maintain a positive company image.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Answer phone calls.
  • Process daily payments.
  • Work with spreadsheets and daily numbers.
  • Charge out daily routes and service work.
  • Handle past dues, collections, and small claims.
  • Set up new customer accounts.
  • Create delivery and service orders.
  • Assign leads to Sales Representatives.
  • Maintain a positive K&S H2O Inc. image.
  • Support a positive team environment for efficient customer service.
  • Take precautions to avoid accidents and ensure safety; report all accidents.
  • Safeguard company equipment and products, tracking deliveries.
  • Collect all applicable customer payments and provide receipts.
  • Accurately complete required forms and reports.
  • Know and follow company policies; suggest changes when appropriate.
  • Assist/train other employees as requested.
  • Resolve product or service issues and follow up for customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Customer service and multi-line telephone experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data entry, and 10-key calculator.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate with the team.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Shift
  • 8-hour shift.
  • Day shift:
    Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Work Setting
  • In-person.
Compensation

Pay: $35,500 to $42,000 per year.

Job Type: Full-time.
