Description Treatment Coordinator
Reports to:
Practice Managers
Key Responsibilities:
- Present and clearly explain treatment plans, procedures, and recommendations to patients and families
- Coordinate with doctors and clinical staff to ensure treatment plans are scheduled and completed efficiently
- Discuss financial arrangements, insurance estimates, and payment options in a clear and compassionate manner
- Manage patient scheduling to support optimal clinical flow and treatment acceptance
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans, patient communications, and case progression
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management
- Previous dental treatment coordination, dental front office, or dental assisting experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with patients and families
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
- Knowledge of dental insurance and treatment planning processes is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced pediatric environment
- Team members are expected to uphold the culture outlined in the SDB Handbook, with a focus on our core values and any additional responsibilities as defined
