About the Facility  This busy hospital maintains 8 anesthetizing rooms and processes approximately 5,000 cases annually with a staffing model of 2 MDs supervising 9 CRNAs. The facility utilizes EPIC EMR system and operates under a supervision model with pager coverage for after-hours support. Call coverage includes both weekday and weekend responsibilities with CRNA support available during all shifts.

About the Clinician's Workday  The anesthesiologist will provide supervision of CRNAs during Monday through Friday day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and take home call from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM on weekdays with 24-hour weekend call coverage. The physician must be board certified by ABA or AOBA and demonstrate proficiency in regional anesthetic blocks and nerve blocks. Documentation will be completed using the EPIC EMR system with pager coverage model for nights and weekends supported by CRNA staff.

The position requires managing an average daily caseload of 29 cases across 8 anesthetizing rooms within the supervision staffing model.
