• Description: Provides comprehensive primary care services, including examination, diagnosis, treatment, counseling, referrals, follow-up care, and interpretation of laboratory and diagnostic results. Works collaboratively with healthcare professionals to support high-quality patient care.
• Job Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive primary medical care and patient counseling
• Diagnose, treat, and follow up on patient conditions
• Interpret laboratory results and diagnostic tests
• Provide medical consultation to Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Midwives, and Physician Assistants
• Provide telephone consultations to patients and families
• Maintain accurate medical records, reports, and clinical data
• Participate in after-hours coverage, weekend call, and/or hospital rounds
• Support quality assurance programs and Health Center projects
• Participate in staff training and in-service education
• Precept medical students, residents, NP students, and PA students

Requirements• Qualifications:
• MD or DO required
• Active Missouri medical license in good standing required
• DEA and BNDD registrations required
• Medicare and Medicaid provider enrollment required
• Board Eligible or Board Certified preferred
• Completion of primary care residency preferred
• Experience or strong interest in an urban community health setting preferred
• Current professional medical membership encouraged
• Must maintain required continuing education standards
