• Delivering group and/or individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines.
• Manage student behavior to provide a safe and optimal learning environment.
• Model conversation, manners, cleanup activities, listening skills, etc. to demonstrate appropriate social and interpersonal behavior.
• Monitor students in various educational environments (classroom, playground, field trips, etc.) to provide a safe and positive learning environment.
• Organize age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities to ensure student participation in learning.
• Report incidents (e.g., fights, suspected child abuse, suspected substance abuse, etc.) to maintain personal safety, provide a positive environment, and adhere to Education Code and school policies.
• Respond to emergency situations to resolve immediate safety concerns and or direct to appropriate personnel.
• Work under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or methods.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

Job related experience is required.

Minimum 36 credit hours or approved 20 hour online training course.

Missouri State Teaching Certificate or Missouri Substitute Certificate.

Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance and Family Care Safety Registry.
