Right At School offers local school districts before and after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to student success.

Location: Mark Twain Elementary School, Brentwood, MO

Pay Rate: $21‑26 per hour (dependent on education and experience)

Schedule: Monday – Friday 2:30 PM – 6 PM

You’ll Drive The Mission By
  • Exhibit role model qualities ensuring safety and joy standards are met; support a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities to a team of staff members.
  • Maintain operational efficiency by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date, outlining attendance protocols, behavior policies, and safety procedures.
  • Continuously coach and foster respectful relationships among staff, addressing challenges promptly to maintain cohesion and productivity.
  • Support and report on safety protocols, consistently identifying and mitigating potential risks within the program environment.
  • Engage meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children; respond promptly to emails, texts, and inquiries during program hours to ensure transparency and trust.
  • Collaborate regularly with the Area Manager to support outlined program goals and assist in implementing changes or processes as guided.
  • Maintain accurate records for student check‑ins and check‑outs; ensure “name to face” attendance procedures are completed per company policy.
  • Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.
Ideal Candidates Will Have The Following
  • Experience working with competing priorities and delivering quality service to all stakeholders.
  • High school diploma or GED completed.
  • Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs.
  • Coursework or training in child development and/or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills—oral, written, and visual—with adults and children.
  • Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community.
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
MO Requirements
  • Center Director Certification from Missouri's Dept. of Secondary Education (DESE) office. Candidates without this certification cannot be considered.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check process, including Family Care Safety Registry registration/screening and a clear eligibility letter from the state.
  • First Aid and CPR in person.
  • Cleared tuberculosis test.
  • 18+ years of age.
  • Proof of High School diploma/GED required.
