Student Teacher Sub (working w/FZ directly through a college/univ)

• Delivering group and/or individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines.
• Managing student behavior to provide a safe and optimal learning environment.
• Modeling conversation, manners, cleanup activities, listening skills, etc. to demonstrate appropriate social and interpersonal behavior.
• Monitoring students in a variety of educational environments (e.g., classroom, playground, field trips, etc.) to provide a safe and positive learning environment.
• Organizing age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities to ensure student participation in learning activities.
• Reporting incidents (e.g., fights, suspected child abuse, suspected substance abuse, etc.) to maintain personal safety of students, provide a positive learning environment, and adhere to Education Code and school policies.
• Responding to emergency situations to resolve immediate safety concerns and/or direct to appropriate personnel for resolution.
• Working under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or methods.
• Performing other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

• Experience:
  
  Job related experience is required.
• Education:
  
  Minimum 36 credit hours or approved 20-hour online training course.
• Certificates/Licenses:
  Missouri State Teaching Certificate or Missouri Substitute Certificate.
• Clearances:
  Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance and Family Care Safety Registry.
