Art Teacher
St. Paul Catholic School is seeking a faith-filled, dedicated Art teacher to join our school community. The teacher will provide high-quality, standards-based instruction while fostering spiritual growth and modeling Catholic values.
Job Responsibilities- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate art lessons for students
- Introduce and reinforce art concepts, techniques, and art history
- Foster creativity, imagination, and appreciation for the arts
- Integrate faith, culture, and creativity into art instruction when appropriate
- Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging art classroom
- Display student artwork and support school-wide art projects and events
- Communicate effectively with school administration and classroom teachers
- Assess student learning and provide meaningful feedback
- Support students' academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development
- Follow all school policies and Archdiocesan guidelines
- Model Christian values and uphold the mission of Catholic education
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Art, Education, or a related field. Strong organizational, classroom management, and communication skills. Dependable, creative, and professional demeanor. Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education.
Preferred:
Valid teaching certification or eligibility. Previous experience teaching art in a school setting. Experience working with a variety of age levels and skill ranges. Practicing Catholic or willingness to support Catholic faith practices.
School-based instruction. Frequent interaction with students and faculty. Ability to stand, move about the classroom, and manage art materials. Schedule aligned with the school calendar.
