We're currently seeking experienced and caring individuals to join our team as Kitchen Assistants. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will assist in the overall management of day-to-day operations of all food preparation and cooking in the kitchen.

What You'll Do:
- Daily duties include heating food, assembling snacks, cutting fruit/vegetables, portioning, dishwashing, and delivering food to the classrooms.
- Responsible for assisting the Cook in preparing meals and snacks for children with special dietary needs
- Ensure safe food storage and disposal, including maintaining temperature logs.
- Complies with all health regulations and the company's best practices
- Follow proper washing and sanitizing procedures for all dishware after collection from classrooms
- Upkeep kitchen cleaning schedule, including dishwashing, daily, weekly, and monthly duties
- Duties and responsibilities may change from time to time on the needs of the daycare centers.
Who You Are:
- Availability to work: 8:30 am to 1:30 pm
- High School diploma/GED equivalency required
- 1 - 2 years of Kitchen Assistant-related experience
- Valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
- Current Food Handler Certification or willing to get
- Clear background checks and up-to-date health assessments.
- Ability to push, pull and lift to 45 pounds
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to take initiative and problem-solve effectively.
Preferred:
- Experience working with vulnerable populations
- Experience working with children.
