Job DescriptionRequirements:
Must have completed at least 60 college credit hours.
Provide group and individual coaching instruction and support aligned to a philosophy of "Positive Coaching."
- Manages student behavior for the purpose of providing a safe and optimal coaching and learning environment.
- Models conversation, manners, cleanup activities, listening skills, etc. for the purpose of demonstrating appropriate social and interpersonal behavior.
- Monitors students in a variety of educational environments (e.g. classroom, playground, field trips, etc.) for the purpose of providing a safe and positive coaching and learning environment.
- Organizes age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities for the purpose of ensuring student participation in coaching activities.
- Reports incidents (e.g. fights, suspected child abuse, suspected substance abuse, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining the personal safety of students, providing a positive coaching and learning environment and adhering to district and school policies.
- Responds to emergency situations for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns and/or directing to appropriate personnel for resolution.
Working under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or methods
Other Functions:
Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Experience:
Job related experience is required.
Education:
Minimum 60 credit hours.

Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance, Family Care Registry Clearance
