• Analyze drawings and solid models of aerospace parts to determine the tooling required to produce patterns for investment casting.
• Design fixtures and tooling necessary for production.
• 3D solid modeling and surface modeling.
• Observe first‑article production and inspection to verify process is followed and results are conforming.
• Develop methods to improve manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with internal tool makers and external vendors on tool designs and modifications.
• Interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications as needed to ensure compliance with customer requirements.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Solid Works or other CAD software is required.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Good understanding of GD&T.
• Candidate should be respectful and team‑oriented, building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
