Senior Mining Geotechnical Professional, St. Louis

Senior Mining Geotechnical Associate (Hybrid) St. Louis, MO (or other Midwest locations)

Salary to $125K plus bonus and very strong employee benefits, plus relocation

Our client is a well-established mining firm who are expanding their office due to growth of their company. A new position has arisen for an experienced mining geotechnical professional to join their team in a very high-profile role.

• Technical "go to person" regarding all feasibility studies, tailings, dams, environmental, geotechnical engineering projects related to mining/energy sector
• Manage and develop staff in cross-border projects
• Lead, manage and negotiate contracts within budget
• Subject Matter expert for geotechnical reviews of mining sites related to calculations, designs, analysis of lab testing.

• At least 6 years of engineering experience with some exposure gained within the mining/energy sector
• Ability to travel on site on an occasional basis (around 15%)
• Advanced degree very helpful
• Very up to date on advancements and new technology related to the mining sector
• Advanced computer skills along with any geotechnical software
• Strong exposure to Project Management.
