Mechanical Design Engineer – Commercial Construction
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for designing HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems for large-scale commercial buildings while collaborating closely with project teams from concept through construction.
Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical systems for commercial construction projects
- Produce construction documents, drawings, and specifications
- Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and field teams
- Support construction administration and RFIs as needed
- 3–7+ years of mechanical design engineering experience
- Experience working on commercial construction projects
- Proficiency with HVAC, piping, and plumbing system design
- Strong understanding of building codes and industry standards
- Revit / AutoCAD experience preferred
