Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pension Actuary located in Greater St. Louis. The Pension Actuary will perform actuarial calculations and analyze financial data related to defined benefit and other retirement plans, prepare and review valuation reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The Actuary will collaborate with clients to design and implement retirement plan strategies tailored to their needs and provide expert consulting to address complex actuarial and financial challenges.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of Actuarial Science and related methodologies
  • Proficiency in Analytical Skills and Statistics for complex data analysis
  • Experience in Finance and knowledge of financial principles
  • Familiarity with Insurance principles as they relate to retirement plans
  • ASA or FSA designation preferred, or significant progress toward achieving actuarial credentials
  • Proficiency in pension plan software and Excel (or similar tools)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
