The Service Process Coordinator 4 performs moderately complex and varied assignments. The role focuses on quality of execution, works with limited supervision, serves an array of products/services, demonstrates technical/administrative expertise, and applies specialized functional area skills and knowledge of professional principles or standards. The technical procedures for this level are well defined, and the coordinator understands how duties relate to the team/unit and integrate with other functions.
The coordinator exchanges moderately complex information with others, handles occasional awkward contacts, uses research, information gathering and analysis skills, and applies judgment based on practice and precedence, selecting the best course of action from a broad array of defined options.
- Organize, record, and service the production output of various servicing activities, interacting with internal and external customers.
- Resolve complex issues and perform most complex servicing activities under limited supervision.
- Work on complex projects.
- Occasionally mentor lower level processors.
- Reconcile historical accounts and perform reapplication/re‑amortization functions.
- Support an expansive array of products/services.
- Demonstrate technical/administrative expertise.
- Apply specialized functional area skills and professional principles or standards that are well defined.
- Assess risk when business decisions are made, considering the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Loan servicing/processing experience preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to maneuver 30‑lb. banker’s boxes and push/pull fully loaded wooden carts.
- May assist with pulling files or re‑filing.
- Basic knowledge of the organization and its policies, and basic understanding of department/unit policies and procedures; knowledge of state regulatory investor guidelines preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
