U.S. Bank is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where all employees can thrive. As a Client Relationship Consultant, you will engage customers through multiple channels to provide tailored banking guidance and promote digital‑first solutions.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with individuals and businesses via in‑person, appointment, and virtual interactions.
- Assess customer needs, gather and process account information, and recommend deposit and loan products that align with their goals.
- Conduct proactive outreach and follow‑up to understand financial goals and preferred banking channels.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of consumer and business banking products, including digital offerings.
- Process basic transactions, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
- Educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products to meet their needs.
- Leverage available resources and technology to provide an optimal client experience with operational excellence.
- Collaborate with branch team members to deliver comprehensive client service.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Typically five or more years of retail banking experience or a combination of experience and training.
- Proven ability to build and foster relationships through proactive outreach.
- Effective engagement and communication with clients.
- Advanced knowledge of retail banking policies, procedures, and support systems.
- Thorough understanding of all retail products and services.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with sales campaigns or promotions.
- Experience with digital products and self‑service technologies.
- Ability to uncover customer needs and apply a digital‑first mindset.
- Proficiency in recommending solutions that meet both reactive and proactive needs.
- Experience in the financial services industry (preferred).
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z is required.
