Physical Therapist

Overview

BJC Health Care is seeking a Physical Therapist for a position in O'Fallon, Missouri. Progress West Hospital is a part of BJC Health Care and offers acute care physical therapy services within a hospital setting. The role involves working with a team of clinicians on a variety of cases including orthopedic, stroke, cardiology, and oncology.

Schedule is Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 7pm with a weekend and holiday rotation. The role offers benefits such as a $2500 sign-on bonus, CEU budget for PTs, annual raises, mentorship, and opportunities for growth.

• Provides skilled physical therapy services to patients including all aspects of evaluation and treatment.
• Establishes treatment plans and provides treatment considering discharge needs, expected discharge functional status, and appropriate equipment and supplies.
• Educates, collaborates with, and conferences with patients, families, and other health care providers; makes recommendations for referrals to specialists as needed.
• Delegates to assistants, techs, and students through written and verbal communication, including determining the skill level or competency required to provide interventions to best meet patient needs.
• Completes documentation in accordance with departmental policies.
• Provides assessment, reassessment, and/or consultations for Physical Therapy Services.
