X-Ray Radiology Technologist

BJC Health Care seeks an X-Ray Radiology Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. Based within our St. Louis hospital network, you will perform routine and complex X-ray exams, ensuring accurate imaging, patient safety, and compassionate care. Responsibilities include positioning patients, operating advanced radiologic equipment, applying radiation safety standards, and supporting timely diagnosis through clear image acquisition and documentation.

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams following physician orders and imaging protocols
• Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and provide compassionate, culturally sensitive care
• Position patients and operate radiologic equipment safely, using appropriate radiation protection
• Assess images for quality and completeness, repeating views when necessary
• Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to support timely diagnosis and treatment
• Document procedures, enter data into PACS/EMR, and maintain accurate records
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and report issues with imaging equipment and supplies
• Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards at all times
• Support continuous improvement, education, and adherence to BJC clinical best practices
