Responsibilities
• Greet patients warmly, creating a sense of value and community.
• Guide patients through check‑in processes, including assisting with virtual tablets and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Ensure a seamless guest flow by communicating effectively about walk‑ins, schedule changes, or patient needs.
• Troubleshoot patient issues and elevate concerns to the appropriate team members, such as the office manager, physician, or billing department.
• Perform all opening and closing tasks for the front desk and lobby, including printing patient demographics and schedules.
• File necessary paperwork.
• Maintain a clean and organized lobby area.
• Manually check in patients unable to use virtual systems, ensuring everyone feels supported.
• Communicate efficiently with team members to provide updates on patient arrivals, delays, or other on‑site needs.
• Foster an atmosphere of teamwork, contributing to the overall success of the office.
- At least 1 year in a customer service role.
- Preferred previous experience in a medical office setting
- A patient‑centered approach, ensuring every guest feels welcome and valued.
- Strong verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with computers and technology or the ability to quickly learn.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
