- Partner closely with our HR Director to help create a workplace where employees feel supported, engaged, and safe.
- Support a variety of human resources and safety initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted resource to employees and managers by providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Lead and support site safety initiatives, including safety committee activities, training, audits, and recordkeeping.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and retention initiatives.
- Coordinate workers' compensation claims and assist with return-to-work processes.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and applicable safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR data within HRIS and related systems.
- Build strong relationships with employees through regular communication and a visible presence on the manufacturing floor.
- Partner with the HR Director on special projects and initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Safety, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting workplace safety programs and a working knowledge of OSHA requirements.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive matters with professionalism.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms; experience with Success Factors and ADP eTime is a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
- Professional HR certifications (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) are a plus.
Demonstrates expertise in Human Resources management within a manufacturing environment, focusing on employee engagement, safety compliance, and HR best practices. Proficient in managing HRIS systems and fostering strong employee relationships through effective communication.
