Employee Benefits Associate (4+ Years) | St. Louis, MO

A highly regarded full-service law firm with more than 150 attorneys across multiple offices is seeking a mid-to-senior level attorney to join its Employee Benefits Practice Group in St. Louis.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with significant experience advising employers, plan sponsors, and organizations on sophisticated employee benefits, executive compensation, and health & welfare plan matters. The practice counsels clients on a broad range of complex ERISA and employee benefits issues, including regulatory compliance, plan design and administration, executive compensation, and employee benefits aspects of corporate transactions.

• 4+ years of employee benefits, executive compensation, or ERISA experience at a sophisticated law firm
• Experience advising clients on health & welfare benefit plans and related compliance matters
• Strong working knowledge of HIPAA, COBRA, the Affordable Care Act (ACA), and related legal compliance
• Experience reviewing and drafting plan documents, summary plan descriptions, employee communications, and related benefits documentation
